The Aurora University softball team split a non-conference doubleheader at North Central College, losing game one 4-1 and winning the second 7-4.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE
- The Spartans threatened in the second but had a runner thrown out at the plate to end the inning.
- NCC answered with four runs on six hits in the bottom half of the inning.
- AU got on the board in the fifth with Elaine Walker driving in Mckenzie Flores with a single.
- The Spartans would leave the bases loaded in the sixth with one out.
- AU fell 4-1.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO
- AU jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a pair of two out runs scoring. Sam Owens doubled to score Elaine Walker with one of the runs.
- The Spartans manufactured a run in the second with Josie Bachtell hitting a sac fly to score Anni Wilson.
- After NCC scored once in the second, AU added more in the third. Ashley Pittman had a run scoring single and Anni Wilson hit a sac fly for the second AU run.
- The Spartans added runs in the fourth and fifth with the aid of several of what would be six Cardinal errors in the game.
- Hannah Tomasko threw 5-2.3 innings for the win with Stephanie Renner finishing for the save.
