The Aurora University men's volleyball team, in just the second season of action, won a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament match for the first time. AU did so but crushing the visiting Falcons of Concordia Wisconsin 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans pulled away in the first set following a kill from
Justin Yost which was quickly followed up by a Yost ace.
- AU controlled all aspects of the first set and won 25-15.
- The second set was not much different as the Spartans had their way with the Falcons and won 25-17.
- Having only trailed six times in the first two matches and never after AU scored their fourth point, the third and would be final set was much of the same.
- AU never trailed in the third set and served up six aces, led by two from
Daniel Pytel.
- The Spartans won 25-14 and ended the Falcons season as AU advances in the NACC Tournament.
- The Spartans hit .333 on the night, as six Spartans collected four or more kills.
