The Aurora University women's soccer team was singing in the rain as they beat the Presidents of Washington and Jefferson College in their final game of the Carnegie Mellon Doubletree Tartan Cup in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Sunday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans got on the board in the 23rd minute on a rebound goal by Abby Kay, assisted by Carly Cast. Alexis Abelove was also in on the action, as her well played ball from the midfield got the scoring play started. 
- Ariana Hopewell scored next for AU in the 37th minute, as she dribbled the ball down the right sideline and lofted a beautiful shot just out of reach of the President's goal keeper. The goal was assisted by Jasmine Ascencio.
- AU would lead the game 2-0 going into halftime.
- Kelsey Deck and Julia Peters combined for a Spartan shutout victory in goal.
