- In the 22nd minute the Spartans struck first with Madison Moore finding the back of the net on a
Corina Leyva assist.
- 6:30 later the Spartans increased the lead to 2-0 with Moore and Leyva connecting again. This time Moore sent a cross that Leyva buried.
- AU and keeper
Kelsey Deck took a 2-0 lead into halftime.
- Over the first 18:30 of the second-half, North Park tied the game 2-2.
- A NPU penalty in the 75th minute awarded AU a penalty kick. Spartan
Abby Kay buried the pk and AU led 3-2.
- In the 86th minute a corner for the Spartans resulted in a rebound goal from
Alexis Abelove for a 4-2 Spartan advantage.
- AU would go on to win 4-2.
