The Aurora University women's soccer team battled the weather and DePauw University in the seventh annual Chelsea Lloyd Memorial Classic on Saturday afternoon. AU fell in a closely played contest 1-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 13th minute, DePauw broke the scoreless tie with a goal from 20 yards out. The shot from the football numbers beat AU goalkeeper
Kelsey Deck to the upper left corner.
- Minutes later, the Spartans got a breakaway from
Emma Aguilar. Her shot would just miss the far post.
- Heading to halftime, AU trailed 1-0.
- The second-half saw both the Spartans and Tigers have scoring chances with the keepers keeping the score 1-0.
- With under 10 minutes to play, AU got another breakaway chance but the Tiger keeper was able to get to the loose ball just before a streaking Spartan could get a boot on the ball.
- AU would fall by a final score of 1-0.
