The Aurora University women's soccer team fell to the MSOE Raiders in their Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference home opener. The Spartans fought for the entire 90 minutes, playing tough defense, but ultimately lost to the Raiders with a score of 2-1.

- The Raiders scored early, getting on the board in the sixth minute of the game.
- The remainder of the first half saw plenty of play in the midfield, but few offensive opportunities for either team.
- The Spartans remained scoreless in the first half, down 1-0 at halftime.
- As minutes fell off the clock in the second half, the Spartans struggled offensively, not able to capitalize on any scoring opportunities.
- MSOE scored again in the 83rd minute, bringing the Raider lead to 2-0.
- The Spartans would go on to lose, 2-0.
