The Aurora University men's hockey team got a goal from
Brayden Sampson 17 seconds into the contest and never trailed as they defeated St. Scholastica 5-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU got off to a fast start with a
Brayden Sampson goal just 17 seconds into the game.
Drew Doyon had the helper.
- The Spartans carried the 1-0 lead into the first intermission.
- 4:55 into the second the Spartans pushed their lead to 2-0.

Adam Keyes found the back of the net with an assist to
Jack Jaunich.
- A short time later CSS scored a short handed tally.
- With 1:37 left in the second period,
Roberts Baranovskis scored an unassisted goal to give AU a 3-1 lead.
- The Spartans continued to hold the two goal lead into the third.
- At 8:14 of the third, Keyes scored again. Sampson and
Anthony Tzveyn had assists.
- With a three goal lead, Baranivskis scored an empty netter with assist from Keyes and Doyon.
- AU went on to win 5-1
