The Aurora University men's basketball team was unable to rally past the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors in the second-half, losing on the road 95-86 on Saturday aftrenoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Warriors jumped out to a quick lead, but with 13:52 remaining in the first half, the Spartans were able to tie the game at 11-11.
- AU would take the lead, 13-11, at the 13:12 mark on a layup from
Justin Wierzgac.
- Over the next eight minutes of first half play, the Warriors and Spartans battled back and forth, with AU extending their lead to seven points, 32-25, on a
Shamar Pumphrey three, with 4:41 left in the half.
- The Warriors then went on a late first half run, and resumed the lead, 37-34, with 1:31 left to play in the half.

Jarek Hotwagner hit a layup with 34 seconds left in the half, to keep the deficit within three, with the Spartans trailing 39-36.
- AU trailed at the half, 42-36.
- The Warriors would continue to hold their lead in the second half, extending the advantage to 10 points, 54-44, with 14:11 left to play in the second half.
- With 10:48 left to play in the half, a Michael Finley three point bucket again cut the Warrior lead to three, 60-57.
- Although the Spartans were able to keep the game close for the remaining ten minutes, they were not able to overcome the Warrior lead.
- The Spartans would go on to lose 95-86.Â
