The Aurora University women's basketball team fell in double overtime at home to Lakeland University on Tuesday night 93-86. In the contest, the Spartans were out shot from the free throw line by 27, as AU went 12-of-20 while Lakeland was 29-of-47.

- In what would be the big stat of the game, Lakeland out shot AU from the free throw line in the first quarter 8-10 to 0-1.
- The teams battled in the second quarter with free throws keeping Lakeland in the game.
- Heading to halftime, AU led 40-39 with the visitors having shot 12-of-20 from the charity stripe.
