Spartans shutout MSOE on senior night

The Aurora University men's hockey team got back in the win column with a dominating 3-0 victory over Milwaukee School of Engineering on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans killed off two MSOE power plays in the first period.
- The score was 0-0 after 20 minutes of play.
- Adam Keyes got the Spartans on the board with a goal at 10:38 in the second period. He was assisted by Jack Jaunich. Keyes was able to stick home a loose puck.
- Jack Jaunich would add his second point of the night with a power play goal with 4:12 left in the second period. Shawn O'Malley recorded the assist.
- The Spartans went into the locker room for the second intermission with a 2-0 lead.  
- Late in the third, Spartan Josh Boyko made a highlight sprawling save to preserve the 2-0 advantage.
- Larry Jungwirth sealed the Spartan win with an empty net goal with 1:52 left in regulation
- Josh Boyko was lights out in net for the Spartans throughout the third period to secure the 3-0 shutout victory
