The Aurora University women's hockey team wrapped up the weekend series in Duluth, Minnesota with a 4-2 loss. AU remains one point from securing home ice for the first round of the 2019-2020 NCHA Slaats Cup playoffs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The final 9:01 of the first period saw lots of scoring action.
- AU fell behind 1-0 with 9:01 left in the opening period, allowing a power play goal.
- It took the Spartans just 40 seconds to answer back with
Emma-Lee Martel getting the equalizer.
- Martel was assisted by
Olivia Matson and
Marissa Dunbar.
- A short time later AU found themselves down again 2-1.
- In the final minute and on the power play the Spartans tied the game up 2-2.
- Dunbar scored this time with assists from Martel and
Sarah Chan.
- Scholatica scored an even strength and power play goal in the second period.
- After two periods, AU trailed 4-2 and that would be the final score.
