Five Spartan double figure scorers led the Aurora University men's basketball team to a dominant 96-77 victory on senior day over Concordia University Chicago. Seniors
Will Hrubes, game high 25 points, and
Jarek Hotwagner, 16 points and nine rebounds, led the charge.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU celebrated the four seniors before tip-off,
Myles Turner,
Ethan Conroy,
Will Hrubes and
Jarek Hotwagner.
- The first 13:30 of play saw the lead changes four times with seven ties as both teams came out chucking three's.
- A 7-0 AU run with a three from
Justin Wierzgac gave AU a lead at 38-31.
- The run was capped off by a
Will Hrubes dunk.
- AU led going to halftime 46-42.
- Early in the second-half, AU was able to take off and get a commanding lead thanks to a 9-0 run. With 14:21 to go, AU led 61-49.
- Once the Spartans hit double digits, the lead never got under 10 the rest of the game.
- The 19 point final score was one of several 19 point leads that AU couldn't quite get over the 20-point hump.
- AU got scoring from just seven players but five came in with duoble digit efforts.
- The Spartans were victorious 96-77.
