The Aurora University women's hockey team took to the Fox Valley Ice Arena ice as the #3 seed in the program's first NCHA Slaats Cup Playoff appearance on Saturday afternoon against the College of St. Scholastica. The Spartans fell to the Saints 4-1

- Despite out shooting CSS 12-5 in the first period, AU trailed 2-0 as the opening period approached two minutes left.

- The second period saw a lot of end to end action but neither team lit the lamp.
- After 40 minutes, AU trailed 2-1.
- Just over five minutes into the third, CSS scored to go up 3-1.
- The visitors added a goal with 2:14 left for the eventual 4-1 final score.
