- AU jumped out to a 5-0 lead just over seven minutes into the contest with two goals each from Ellie Blake and Claire Carlson.
- After a CUW tally, the Spartans scored four more consecutive goals and led 9-1 with 18:23 left in the first-half.
- When Monique Gibson scored with 13:33 left in the first, AU enacted the running clock with a 10 goal lead at 12-2.
- Kara O'Connell rounded out the first-half scoring with six minutes left and the running clock remained.
- AU led 13-3 at halftime.
- Monique Gibson and Ellie Blake scored two goals each in the second half as the Spartans cruised to a 17-3 lead.
- AU would win comfortably, 17-5.
