The final day of the 2020 spring trip for the Aurora University baseball team saw the Spartans take on another nationally ranked program in Webster University. AU got a dominant pitching performance from junior Skyler Yamamoto and timely late inning hitting to win 5-0. The ninth win of the season for AU marked the 400th career win for Head Coach Adm Stevens.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS 
- The Spartans threatened in the third and fourth but came up empty, stranding two in each inning.
- AU starter Skyler Yamamoto was locked in, allowing two hits over the first seven innings with no runner getting past second.
- In the top of the eighth, the Spartans broke the scoreless tie.
- Colin Rivard led off by reaching on an error and moved around to third with two outs.
- Rivard scored when Josh Reinhardt singled to the shortstop and AU led 1-0.
- A lead-off walk for Webster started the bottom of the inning against Yamamoto but he set down the next three hitters he faced and AU led 1-0 going to the ninth.
- With one out, Jett Wedekind reached on an error by the left fielder. This opened the flood gates for the AU offense as four straight hits followed, including a two-run double from Corey Vondra.
- When the top of the ninth was over, AU led 5-0.
- Yamamoto shut the door in the bottom of thr ninth and as victorious over Webster 5-0.
