Summary

Biography

2023: Was named by D3baseball.com to the All-Region team, and by the NACC as an All-Conference Second Team Selection. He batted .306 with a 1.015 OPS, 12 doubles and 8 homers adding 37 RBIs and 81 Total Bases to his historic resume.

2022: Was named a Second-Team All-Region selection by both ABCA and D3baseball.com after being named a First-Team All-Conference catcher in the NACC. Wedekind had a .342 average with 10 home runs, one triple, 13 doubles, 59 runs scored and 45 runs batted in while having a .587 slugging and .448 on-base. Also, Wedekind had a .995 fielding percentage behind the plate which included gunning down 18 would be base stealers.

2021: Appeared and started in 43 games for the Spartans hitting .323 with 10 doubles, one triple, 8 homeruns, and 40 RBIs. Was named a NACC Scholar Athlete.

2020: *Season finished early due to COVID-19* Appeared in 10 games, hitting .147 with one home run, one double, scoring 10 runs and four RBI's. Was named an AU and NACC Scholar-Athlete.

2019: Was named a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference First-Team catcher. Appeared in 45 games, hitting .324 with eight doubles, two home runs, and 22 RBI's.

2018: Appeared in 44 games for the Spartans, hitting .349 with 60 hits, one home run, 41 runs scored, and 27 RBI's. Awarded NACC First Team All-Conference and Third Team Midwest All-Region by ABCA. Was named an AU and NACC Scholar-Athlete.

High School: Graduated Princeton High School in 2016, while competing in Football, Basketball, and Baseball
