Biography

2023: Named to the CoSIDA Academic All-American Second Team, First Team All-Region by D3baseball.com and American Baseball Coaches Association, and NACC First Team All-Conference. Ambuel batted .364 with a .990 OPS, with 16 doubles, 1 triple, and a career high 8 homers while tallying a total of 120 Total Bases and 60 RBIs.

2022: Was selected to the Second-Team All-Region by D3baseball.com and First-Team All-Conference in the NACC. Played in 45 games, starting in 43, for the Spartans. He hit .383 with 18 doubles, one triple, and six homeruns. He had 56 RBIs and scored 53 runs.

2021: Started 46 games for the Spartans, hitting .355 with 15 doubles, 6 homeruns, and scoring 42 runs. Was named a NACC Scholar Athlete.

High School: Graduated from Carlinville High School.
