The Aurora University men's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference contest at Elmhurst College on Sunday afternoon 15-9.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU led 1-0 in the first on a man-up goal from Jameson Morrison.
- Elmhurst then out scored the Spartans 7-0 until late in the second quarter.
- Braden Toll and Zach Bernstein scored unassisted goals to cut the deficit to 7-3.
- AU would trail heading to halftime 9-3.
- The Spartans scored four times in the third with a pair of goals from Harrison Canaday and one each from Morrison and Bernstein.
- A late Elmhurst goal saw AU down 11-7 go to the final 15.
- Canaday scored to start the fourth and AU was within three at 11-8.
- Elmhurst scored the next four goals though to lead 15-8 with 3:40 left in the game.
- Morrison added his third goal of the day but that ended the days scoring as AU fell 15-9.
