The COVID-19 outbreak forced the sudden cancelation of the NCAA winter and spring sports seasons. In the weeks following, the Aurora University athletic department highlighted senior student-athletes. We began with the seniors from the spring who had their seasons cut short and now begin to recognize the seniors from the winter and fall sports who completed their time at AU.

Senior Spotlight: Ethan Conroy (Men's Basketball)
Major: Business administration
What are your plans after graduation? Work for State Farm.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? Winning two conference championships.
Other than the sport(s) you play; what other sports activity are you good at? Football.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? Working out.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria? Chicken nuggets.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? Professor Hearon, always willing to help and go out of his way to be my faculty sponsor for two internships.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? Running sprints was my least favorite and scrimmages were my favorite.
Do you have any pregame rituals? None, go play.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? Don't give up, finish out your four years of basketball it'll be worth it in the long run when it's all over even if you don't get the playing time you wanted.
What is something that people may not know about you but should? Moved eight times before graduating high school.
If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why? Michael Jordan, greatest basketball player ever; and Bill gates, smartest man in the world.
