The Aurora University football team returns home to Spartan Athletic Park on Saturday, October 16, to host the first home night game in AU football history against the Red Devils of Eureka College. Game time has been set for a 6:00 p.m. kickoff.

Spartans in the National Statistical Rankings: 
AU is led by a high powered offense that ranks eighth in total offense (523.8 yards per game), tied for 23rd in first downs offense (125), seventh among Division III programs in scoring offense (50.0 points per game), 12th in rushing offense (247.8 per game) and 25th in team passing efficiency (167.32). 

Individually, the Spartans are led several individuals who rank among the top 20 in many categories.

Quarterback Gavin Zimbelman is fifth nationally in passing touchdowns (18), sixth in points responsible for (120), 8th in points responsible for per game (24.0) and 14th in passing yards per completion (16.24).

Running back Tyran Bailey is ranked nationally, third in rush yards per carry (8.7), 11th in rushing touchdowns (9), 13th in yards rushing per game (121.8), 16th in total rushing yards (609) and 20th in scoring per game (10.8).

Wide receiver Cameron Moore is second in yards per reception (33.67) and seventh in receiving touchdowns (eight)

Defensively, defensive back Sean Reyna is ranked first nationally with his five interceptions and 2.2 pass deflections per game.

Specialist, punt returner James Mautino is 19th in punt returns with 14.
