The Aurora University women's volleyball team played host to University Chicago Saturday afternoon at Thornton Gymnasium. The Maroons defeated the Spartans 3-1 (24-26, 21-25, 27-25, 17-25).

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS
- The Spartans jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead in set one and held the lead for most of the match.
- UC tied the game at 24 and would take their first lead of the set and win 26-24.
- Spartan Lulu Torres led the Spartans with four kills in set two.
- UC grabbed the lead midway through the set and would not look back as they would win 25-21 to take a 2-0 set lead.
- Sydnei Avery and Torres led the team in set three with six kills each.
- AU trailed most of the set, but service from Gillian Hoerman boosted the Spartans to a 27-25 set win.
- The Maroons pulled away in set four to take 25-17 set win, and 3-1 match win.
