The Aurora University women's hockey team took the ice against Lake Forest College in the second game of the weekend series and went toe to toe with the Foresters, but fell in a close contest 6-4.

 - AU fell behind Lake Forest 1-0 as the Foresters scored 3:43 into the contest.
- Midway through the first period, the Spartans tied the contest with a power play tally from Peyton Elliot. She was assisted by
Stephanie Schmunk.Â
- The Foresters would take the 2-1 lead with 5:47 left to play in the first.
- With 2 seconds left and 4v4 play, the Spartans were able to find the back of the Foresters net.
Darci Matson scored with assists from

- AU and Lake Forest remained tied 2-2 going into the first intermission.
- Lake Forest took the 3-2 lead with a power play tally 5:21 into the second period.
- Once again, the Spartans answered back.
