 - AU fell behind CUW 1-0 as the Falcons scored 9:26 into the contest.
- With 1:17 left in the first period, the Spartans tied the contest when
Ellie Visser scored on an unassisted tally.
- This goal brought the teddy bears from the stands on the Toys for Tots Teddy Toss event.
- AU and CUW remained tied 1-1 going into the first intermission.
- The Spartans jumped out early in the second period and took a 2-1 lead when
Stephanie Schmunk scored a power play tally. She was assisted by
Olivia Matson and
Darci Matson.
- The score remained 2-1 for the rest of the period.

- CUW pulled their goalie for an extra skater with a minute left to play.
