Aurora University football offensive tackle Chris Toth was recognized by D3football.com when the 2021 All-American teams were announced on Friday evening prior to the Stagg Bowl. Toth was named to the D3football.com First-Team All-American Team.

Toth adds the First-Team All-American selection after having already been named First-Team All-Region from D3football.com and First-Team All-Conference by the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. Toth anchored the Spartan offensive line unit that averaged 493.8 total yards per game, 215.2 yards rushing and 278.6 passing per game.

The 2021 Spartans finished the season with an 8-3 record, a perfect 8-0 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and a 2021 NCAA Division III playoff appearance. The champions of the NACC, the AU football team headed to the NCAA Division III Football Championship for the sixth time in program history and second consecutive season of the NCAA hosting the playoffs.

Toth and the Spartans return to action in the 2022 season on Saturday, September 3 when they travel to Hope College. Kick off is set for 1:00 p.m. (est) / 12:00 p.m. (cst) in Holland, Michigan.
