Aurora University women's basketball wrapped up the 2021 season with a 63-62 victory at North Central College on Friday afternoon. The victory sends the Spartans into the new year with cheer.

- The Spartans and Cardinals traded leads back and forth over the first 6:28 of the first quarter.
- AU nine of the final 11 points of the quarter to lead 15-11.

Savannah Johnson early in the second gave AU a 20-13 lead.
- After NCC rallied back into the lead, AU scored the final four points of the half to send the game to half tied 30-30.
- The third quarter remained tightly played and with a
Savannah Johnson layup as time expired, AU led 46-43.
- Midway through the fourth, AU found themselves down four at 55-51.
- With 3:33 left in the fourth,
Eliot Dojutrek knocked down a jumper in the paint to give AU a 56-55 lead.
- That lead change would be the first of six in the final 3:33 of the game.
- NCC took a 62-61 lead with 21 seconds to go but the Spartans wasted little time to recapture the lead.
- Six seconds later, Dojutrek converted a layup to go up 63-62.
- AU out lasted two missed three's from NCC in the final seconds to claim victory.
