HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jessica VonRuden opened the scoring for the Bulldogs five minutes into the opening period.
- AU had a 5 on 3 power play to close out the first period but the Bulldog penalty kill unit kept the Spartans off the board.
- The Spartan trailed 3-0 after one period of action.
- Both teams traded chances throughout the second period but neither team added to the score column.
- Jessica VonRuden added some late insurance for the Bulldogs with a power play goal 
- Chiara Pfosi recorded 23 saves despite coming in off the bench early in the first period
- AU would lose to the undefeated Bulldogs 4-0.
