The Aurora University men's volleyball team took to the court in an afternoon #NACCtion opener against Concordia Chicago, defeating the visitors in three quick sets to improve to 2-2 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans trailed early in the first set before a four point rally pushed them ahead 9-7.
- Three straight kills from
Thomas Kovanic put AU ahead 16-11 and AU went on to win 25-21.
- In the second set, a huge 7-0 run midway through pushed the Spartans up 19-10.
- Two aces from
Emmanuel Chaidez in the run led AU to 25-22 win.
- The third set saw AU jump out 12-6 but a rally from CUC brought the score to 13-12.
- AU went right back to work and ran off to a 25-16 win.
- Freshman
Carson Wiese knocked down the final two kills of the match.
