The Aurora University men's basketball team jumped out to an early 10-0 lead and never looked back on their way to a resounding 98-76 victory over Dominican University.

- From the opening tip-off the Spartans controlled the action on Lancaster Court against Dominican.
- Rashad Johnson drained a three on the first possession and the on-slaught had begun.
- After a Bailey Vance lay-up gave AU a 10-0 lead, Dominican called time just 2:22 into the game.
- A 21-6 run in the late part of the first-half, capped off with a Nathan Yockey three gave AU a 23 point lead at 54-31.
- AU took a 54-34 lead into halftime.
- All 10 Spartans to play in the first-half scored led by 10 from Mahlik Hall.
- After Dominican scored to open the second, the Spartans countered with a 13-0 run with eight points from Rashad Johnson and five from Yockey.
- With 16:39 to go, AU led by 30, 67-37.
- AU maintained a lead that hovered around 30 for the entire remaining time of the second-half.
- The Spartans were able to get all players in the game and contributing to the strong win.
- AU celebrated as the clock wound down with a 98-76 win.
