The Aurora University baseball team swept their doubleheader against Ripon College, 12-1, 12-4 on Sunday afternoon, a cold and windy day at Schmid Field.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS -
- The Spartan offense picked up where they left off on Saturday when they scored in the 1st inning again.
- Jake Ambuel would single to center and score later on a Justin Sartori single.
- Skyler Yamamoto would come out the next half inning and shut the down the Red Hawks in order.
- The Spartan offense would add a pair in the 2nd inning when Collin Meinert and Sean Rivera would come across to score. 3-0 AU.
- Ripon would score the lone run of the game in the 3rd.
- AU would score four in the the 4th with the big hit coming from Corey Vondra, doubling to bringing in Eric Johansen and Josh Reinhardt.
- Vondra would grab two more RBI's in the 5th when he singled in Reinhardt and Meinert.
- In the 7th Eric Johansen would rip a double down the line to add another run making it 10-1 Spartans.
- In the 8th Sean Rivera would single to bring in Nico Bermio and Sartori. 12-1 Final.

- AU jumped on Ripon in the 1st inning again, scoring three on Red Hawks defensive miscues and a Jett Wedekind single.
- In the 2nd the Spartans would add another three on a wild pitch, a double by Vondra, and another single from Wedekind.
- The Red Hawks would get on the board on a few Spartan miscues scoring four runs.
- In the 5th Dylan White would walk with the bases loaded to bring in Reinhardt making 7-4 Spartans.
- In the 7th AU would bring in five runs on Nick Baldassano single, Sartori fielder's choice, and double from Meinert and Wedekind.
- Both offenses would not score the rest of the game ending in 12-4 Spartan victory.
