The Aurora University women's soccer team returned to the turf at Spartan Athletic Park in well over a year and took advantage of a penalty kick to defeat Concordia University Chicago 1-0.

- The Spartans took advantage of a penalty in the 15th minute of action.
- Setting up the PK was Emma Aguilar who slipped behind the Cougar defense and was tackled by the keeper.
- Abby Kay took the PK and after a fault by the CUC keeper on the first try, Kay buried the second shot for a 1-0 lead.
- That 1-0 score would hold in place for the next 75+ minutes.
- Kelsey Deck and the AU defense stood strong for the shutout victory, 1-0.
