The Aurora University men's basketball team traveled to Lake Forest College and defeated the Foresters 61-58 Tuesday night, AU's final contest of the 2021 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans and Forester exchanged leads throughout the game.
- Halfway through the 1st half the Spartans tied the game 12-12 before going on a 7-0 run go up 19-12.
- The Foresters would then turn the table and go up 20-19 with an 8-0 run themselves.
- The Spartans would retake the lead and take a three-point 28-25 lead into the half.
- With 15 minutes left in regulation the Foresters would tie the game up 33-33.
- From there the game would get tied up nine separate times with the final tie coming with 6 minutes remaining. 52-52.
- In the last 6 minutes the lead changed five times.
- A Vance Bailey layup with three minutes remaining would give the Spartans their final lead at 57-56.
- Baskets from Mahlik Hall and Ha'ashim Keys sealed the Spartans win 61-58.
