The Aurora University women's hockey team completed the season series sweep of the Foresters of Lake Forest College on Tuesday night, defeating LFC 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU out shot Lake Forest by a significant margin in the first period but neither team managed to get the puck in the back of the net.
- After one period, the game remained 0-0.
- 3:01 into the second period, LFC scored to take a 1-0 lead.
- Midway through the second and just over seven minutes after falling behind 1-0, AU tied the contest.
- Spartan Olivia Matson scored her third of the three game series with an assist from Lexie Martinez.
- About 3:30 later, AU took their first lead of the contest. Matson fed Marisa Trevino who buried the biscuit in the basket for her fourth of the season.
- After 40 minutes of action, AU led 2-1.
- Early in the third, Spartan Stephanie Schmunk scored to give AU a two goal advantage. Martinez and Matson assisted on the goal.
- Goalie Chiara Pfosi and the AU defense made the 3-1 lead hold up as AU swept the season series with LFC.
