The Aurora University men's lacrosse team improved to 11-0 all-time against Carthage College with a 9-8 non-conference victory on Saturday afternoon.

- The game was scoreless for just over the first 9 minutes of the first quarter before Spartan
Brody MacDonald broke the tie with a goal with 5:52 left.
- AU then scored three times in the final 1:22 including a goal with 1 second left to lead 4-1 after one.
- MacDonald scored twice and
Mitchell Young scored for the four first quarter AU goals.
- In the second, a fourth goal from MacDonald gave AU a 5-2 lead before
Harrison Canaday scored just before the half to give the Spartans a 6-2 lead going to half.
- Carthage scored twice to open the third before Canaday scored his second of the day with an assist from
Dominic Diaz.

Jimmy Gorecki scored with 11 seconds left in the third with an assist from
Brody MacDonald.
- AU led 8-5 going to the final 15 minutes.
- Gorecki scored his second of the day in the fourth (3:20) with an assist from
Zach Bernstein.
- Carthage scored a pair of goals in the final two minutes but the Spartan defense came up big in the final seconds to seal the one goal win.
- AU defeated Carthage 9-8.
