The Aurora University men's track and field team kicked off the outdoor season at the Meet for Milwaukee hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Competing with a partial squad, the Spartan men finished fourth out of six teams with a total of 52 points.
In the 400 meters freshman
Danyrine White paced second with a time of 52.33.
Carlos Flores ran his lifetime best of 1:05.74.
Isaac Heard placed tenth in the 200 running 24.41. Closely behind him were teammates
Kaiden Hall (11
th) and
Danyrine White (12
th).
Eric Teverbaugh won the high jump with a jump of 1.70m (5' 7").
Eli Grundman won the pole vault with a vault of 3.90m (12' 9.5"). Senior
Kaiden Hall place third in the long jump with his best jump of 5.93m (19' 5.5"). Freshman
Edgar Dominguez also jumped his lifetime best of 5.89m (19' 4") earning fourth place.
Sophomore
Dylan Whisenant placed fourth in shot put, seventh in discus, and seventh in hammer.
Next up for the Spartan men's track and field team is Saturday, March 27 when they travel to The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
