Spartans drop home opener in OT

The Aurora University men's soccer team faced Dominican University in their home opener Wednesday night. The Spartans were defeated 2-1 in overtime.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half was quiet as both teams only had two shots on goal, both being saved by the keepers.
- In the 75th minute Dominican would get on the board first with a goal.
- Not long after, in the 79th minute, Spartan Salvador Garcia would find the back of the net to tie it up 1-1.
- In the 96th minute the Stars would score to take the 2-1 win over the Spartans.
