Four Spartans scored in double digits while the team went 18-of-36 from three-point range. Junior guard
Crystal Rios had a career high 28 points and hit five-of-seven from three.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams came out hot from the field and 3:11 into the game, the score was tied 7-7.
- When
Angela Cabalang drained a three with 4:58 on the clock, that began a run of four straight AU threes and the Spartans led 21-14 with 3:04 to go.
- Just before the end of the opening quarter,
Crystal Rios hit AU's sixth three of the opening quarter and the Spartans led 26-16.
- The offensive onslaught and three-point barrage continued in the second quarter from the Spartans.
- Turnovers from a tenacious AU defense led to many wide open Spartan looks and with 5:54 to play in the half, AU led 37-20 following a
Julie Galauner three.
- A turnover and fastbreak layup from Rios just before the halftime buzzer sent the Spartans to halftime, leading 46-30.
- AU shot a blistering 10-of-17 from three in the opening half while helping to cause 17 Dominican turnovers.
- A 26-6 Spartan run opened the third quarter and when
Victoria Perry hit a three with 3:49 left in the third, AU led 72-36.
- AU closed out the third quarter, leading 76-45.
- In the fourth everything continued to go the Spartans way as they held a lead in the 30's almost throughout.
- The Spartans would surpass the century mark on a
Havana Wygal lay-up.
- AU was victorious 101-61.
