The Aurora University Men's Hockey team celebrated the senior class before dropping its regular season finale to the Lake Forest Foresters Saturday evening 2-1. AU out shot Lake Forest but fell short in getting the puck past a strong effort from the visiting goalie.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU's
Nate Keeley would open up the scoring for the Spartans with a goal seven minutes into the game with assists from
Dylan Rauh and
Daniel Menges.
- The Foresters would tie the game with two minutes left to play in the 1st period on the power play.
- The teams would go into intermission tied 1-1
- Halfway through the 2nd period Lake Forest would score their second goal making it 2-1.
- The Foresters would hold this lead going into the 2nd intermission.
- AU would continue to be denied as the Lake Forest goalie totaled 45 saves on the night.
- The game would end 2-1 Lake Forest.
