The Aurora University men's hockey team saw the 2021 season come to a close in the opening round of the NCHA Harris Cup playoffs with a 2-1 loss to Milwaukee School of Engineering.

- MSOE scored early in the first period courtesy of a power play and led 1-0.
- The teams went to the first intermission with the 1-0 score.
- The visiting power play struck again early in the second period as MSOE went up 2-0 on AU.
- Late in the second the Spartans went to a power play, a five minute major on MSOE.
- The power play carried over into the third when AU struck.

Riley Doyon scored with seconds remaining on the five minute with an assist from
Larry Jungwirth.
- AU made a strong effort but were unable to get the game tying goal and fell 2-1.
