The Aurora University Spartan softball team hosted Edgewood College for a conference doubleheader Sunday afternoon. The Spartans swept the Eagles 9-1 (5 innings) and 8-2.

- EC opened up the scoring in the 2nd, scoring one on one hit.
- The Spartans answered with two in the bottom half with Delilah Aguirre scoring on a Ashley Talaga triple, Talaga would score on a Bryanna Perez sac fly.
- The Spartan offense exploded in the 3rd for seven runs on eight hits.
- Spartans Josephine Lytton, Lexie Rayborn, Aly Teixeira, Talaga, Cassidy Rourke, Tyler Chambers, and Brianna Lewis had hits in the inning with Rourke's being a home run.
- Hannah Tomasko would shut the Eagle offense down the rest of the way to give the Spartans a 9-1 win in 5 innings.

- The Eagles scored one in the opening frame of game two on one hit.
- AU answered and tied it up in the bottom half with Rayborn's single down the left field line to score Lytton.
- Edgewood would retake the lead in the 3rd scoring one on two hits.
- The Spartans scored four in the 3rd, with Rayborn, Talaga, and Rourke driving in runs.
- In the bottom of the 5th AU added three more with Brianna Lewis and Rayborn recording RBI's in the innings.
