Tomasko's perfection in game one lifts Spartans to sweep of Dominican

The Aurora University Spartan softball team hosted Dominican University Saturday afternoon for a conference doubleheader. Hannah Tomasko pitched her second perfect game of the season in the Spartan 12-0 win in game one. AU won game two 13-1, both games being five innings.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE 
- Spartan Hannah Tomasko started her dominance in the game with two strikeouts in the opening frame.
- AU got on the board first in the 2nd inning when Tyler Chambers knocked in Ashley Talaga.
- The Spartans added eight runs in the 3rd with Delilah Aguirre, Ashley Talaga, Bryanna Perez, Brianna Lewis, Josephine Lytton, and Lexie Rayborn recording RBIs in the inning.
- AU added three more in the 4th, highlighted by Faith Biggs two RBI double.
- Tomasko finished her perfect game in the 5th by striking out the side.
- Spartans win 12-0.

- The Spartans struck early in game two with Lexie Rayborn's three run home run in the 1st inning.
- The Stars loaded the bases in the 2nd inning, but were only able to bring one run home.
- The Spartans scored five in the 3rd with Aly Teixeira and Josephine Lytton getting extra base hits.
- The Spartans would score another five runs in the 4th seeing Spartans Lytton, Devin Bailey, Isabel Morales, Talaga, and Aguirre come across to score.
- Taylor Shaw came back out in the 5th and retired the Stars in order to win the game in 5 innings.
