The Aurora University Spartan softball team traveled to Dominican University Sunday afternoon for a conference doubleheader. The Spartans swept the Stars, winning game one 3-2 and game two 4-1.

- The Spartans scored early when
Josephine Lytton tripled with one out in the game and scored on a wild pitch the next batter up.
- In the 3rd, Spartan
Aly Teixeira singled through the left side to bring home Lytton again to extend the lead to 2-0.
- The Stars scored one in the 3rd on three hits and one error from the Spartans.
- AU scored again in the 4th with
Ashley Talaga coming in as the Stars made a throwing error trying to throw out
Cassidy Rourke.
- The Stars would score one more in the 7th, but
Hannah Tomasko was not giving up anymore.

Courtney Rickard kept the Star offense off balance only giving up one run in the final inning.
