The Aurora University men's volleyball team won a NACC tournament home game clinching contest on Friday night at Marian University, beating the Sabres in 3-1 (20-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-16).

- The home Sabres jumped out to an early lead in the first and the Spartans could not catch up, falling 25-20.
- AU led for most of the second set and held off a late Sabre rally to win the set 25-22.Â
- The Spartans took advantage of numerous Sabre errors in the middle of the third set to rally and take a lead.
Justin Elliott continued his strong play on the night ending the match on a kill.
- AU left no doubt in the fourth set that they would be the host for the next matchup between the two teams.
