The Aurora University men's lacrosse team took on Illinois Tech on Wednesday night and make easy work of the Scarlet Hawks, winning 16-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans came out in complete control of the contest from the opening face-off which was scooped up by
Dominic Diaz and he scored seven seconds into the game.
- AU would score five more times in the opening period with five difference Spartans scoring.
- The second period was much the same with AU dominating and adding five more goals.

Brody MacDonald scored twice in the second to collect a hat trick.
- AU led 11-0 going to halftime.
- After Illinois Tech scored to open the third quarter,
Joseph Dey scored his third of the night and AU led 12-1.
- The Spartans would lead 16-1 with two goals from
Andrew Bittner.
- AU went on to win 16-2.
