The Aurora University Spartan softball team hosted Concordia University Chicago Saturday afternoon in their final conference games of the season. The Spartans swept the Cougars, 9-0 and 8-4 and honored the senior class of 2021 between games.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE 
- AU starter Hannah Tomasko allowed two hits in the first innings, the only hits she would allow in the game.
- The Spartans opened up the scoring in the 2nd inning with five runs on six hits from Delilah Aguirre, Ashley Talaga, Jordan Seyfried, Tyler Chamber, Brianna Lewis, and Aly Teixeira.
- The Spartans added four more in the 4th with Teixeria, Aguirre, and Seyfried getting RBIs.
- Spartans Hannah Tomasko finished her two hit shutout in the 5th inning, her 11th shutout of the season which leads the NCAA Division III.
- Spartans won 9-0.

- CUC got on the board in the first inning with a 3-run home run.
- AU got on the board in the 2nd on a Tyler Chambers single that scored Delilah Aguirre.
- In the 3rd, AU scored three runs with Josephine Lytton, Aly Teixeira, and Jordan Seyfried getting RBIs in the inning.
- In the 4th, Teixeira doubled in Lytton to extend the lead to 5-3.
- Spartan shortstop Ashley Talaga scored in the 5th.
- To open the 6th, Jemma Fiehweg tripled and would score on the next hitter when Brianna Lewis doubled. Lewis would later score on an Aguirre single.
- CUC would get one in the 7th on another home run.
- Spartans win 8-4.
