The Aurora University women's lacrosse team saw the highly successful 2021 season come to an end in the NCAA Division III Tournament on Saturday afternoon. AU fell to Denison University 16-5 on the campus of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.

- AU took a 1-0 lead 3:27 into the game on a Claire Carlson goal. She was assisted by Margaret Flanagan.
- Midway through the first-half AU trailed 6-1.
- Monique Gibson scored an unassisted goal with 12:22 left in the first half.
- The teams went to the halftime intermission with AU trailing 11-2.
- AU got goals from Gibson and two from Carlson in the second-half.
- The Spartans fought valiantly but fell 16-5.
