The Aurora University women's volleyball team returned home to open the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference schedule on Wednesday night against Concordia University Chicago. After two closely played sets, the Spartans dominated the third and final set for a 3-0 win.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS
- AU trailed early in the first set until a Dani Lauer ace gave the Spartans a 14-13 lead.
- The Spartans out-scored CUC 11-8 including scoring five of the last six points to win 25-21.
- AU led the entire second set but not without some late nervousness as the lead was down to one at 24-23.
- Kaitlyn Beebe fed Sydnei Avery for the final point to win 25-23.
- The third and would be final set was all AU with the Spartans winning 25-11.
- With Dani Lauer at the service line, AU jumped out to a 7-1 lead.
- Later, with a 13-10 lead, Kaitlyn Beebe stepped to the service line and a 9-0 led to a 22-10 AU lead.
- The Spartans would go on to win 25-11.

- Sydnei Avery had 11 kills, six digs and four blocks.
- Kaitlyn Beebe had 34 assists.
- Kate Poellmann had 10 kills and three blocks.
