Spartans drop non-conference tilt at Saint Mary's

The Aurora University women's soccer team dropped a road non-conference contest at Saint Mary's College on Wednesday evening, losing 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Early on in the game, the teams traded shots on net with Kelsey Deck and her opposing keeper making the saves.
- 17:57 into the opening half, AU fell behind 1-0.
- The score remained 1-0 going to halftime.
- The first shot of the second half found the back of the AU net and the Spartans trailed 2-0 with 41:29 left in the game.
- AU had a couple of scoring chances later in the half but were unable to solve the SMC keeper.
- The Spartans would fall by a 2-0 final score.
