This past weekend the Aurora University Varsity Women's Bowling team started of their second semester in one of their biggest tournaments of the season. The team competed in the Kegel/Illinois State BPA Midwest Collegiate Classic in Addison, Illinois. The tournament was a two day affair and saw the Spartans finish 39 out of 57 teams.
Emilie Pleshar averaged 180.4 over 5 traditional games
Alyssa Alexander averaged 179.4 over 5 traditional games
Alex Bergin averaged 177.6 over 5 traditional games
Karlea Ceasario averaged 172.2 over 5 traditional games
Jenna Batson provided the team with a 191 for game 5
Jemma Skweres averaged 181.25 for 4 games
For 20 Baker games on Sunday, the Spartans averaged 161.75 per game, with majority of the team covering 60% or more of their spares.
Next up for the Spartans is the Peacock Classic located in Waterloo, IA January 21-23.
