The Aurora University men's hockey team got a pair late third period goals to rise above the Raiders at Milwaukee School of Engineering 4-3 Wednesday night.

- Â Spartans took a 1-0 lead 1:08 into the first period when Nate Keeley scored on assists from Shawn O'Malley and Brayden Sampson.
- Simon Boyko joined extended the Spartans lead 2-0 scoring on an assist from Brayden Sampson.Â
- The Raiders cut the score in half with 5:00 minutes remaining in the first period.
- The Spartans led 2-1 going into the first intermission.
- AU maintained puck possession throughout the second period, but MSOE found the back of the Spartans net with 3 seconds remaining in the period.
- The Spartans and Raiders remained tied 2-2 going into the second intermission.
- Early in the third period, the Raiders took a 3-2 lead.
- With five minutes left in the third period, the Spartans were able to find the back of the Raiders net. Brayden Sampson scored on assists from Gio Procopio and Dylan Rauh.
- Simon Boyko would add his second goal of the night with a power play tally that gave the Spartans a 4-3 lead with two minutes remaining in the period.
- The Spartans out shot MSOE 45-33 and would go on to win 4-3.Â
