Summary

Biography

2021-2022: Received NCHA All-Conference Honors. Appeared in 26 games, recording 712 saves for a 16-9 record. 

2020-2021: Received AHCA Men's Hockey Scholars honors and named to the NCHA All-Academic Team. Played in 10 games recording 282 saves for the Spartans. He finished the season with a 4-4 record.

2019-2020: Boyko became the first Spartan ever selected AHCA All-American as he was tabbed as the West Second-Team goaltender. He helped lead AU to a program best 12-9-6 overall record and 8-6-6 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) play while making a second straight appearance in the Harris Cup playoffs. He became the first Spartan men's hockey player to receive NCHA All-Conference honors as well. 
On the season, Boyko finished with a 12-9-6 record and a 2.25 goals against average (2.04 in NCHA games) and had a .934 save percentage while collecting five shutouts. Was named to the AU and NCHA All-Academic Team.

2018-2019: Appeared in 23 games for the Spartans with a record of 9-13-1, with a GAA of 2.96 and a .896 save percentage. Was named to the AU and NCHA All-Academic Team.

2017-2018: Appeared in 19 games for the Spartans going 5-10-2. Recorded 529 saves with a save percentage of .888.

High School: Graduated from Lone Park Secondary School where he competed in Lacrosse and Ice Hockey.

Junior Hockey: Brookings Blizzard (NAHL).

Family: Parents are Bill and Josie, and has one brother, Simon.

Hobbies: Hanging with friends, relaxing, playing video games and playing sports.
